STREET PLAY

A street play was staged by the CVA students to instill in the minds of people on the importance of preserving a monument. It started with a king descending from heaven to visit his monument. He felt sorry to see the pathetic condition of the monument and ordered the people to renovate it and guard it from miscreants.
At the end of the programme the students felt proud to be part of the country for its rich heritage and culture.

Monuments - A Perspective!

Monuments are like mirrors that reflect the past and link us with the present and preserves us for the future. In connection to our ISA Project on monuments, Students of CVA and the students of visiting countries (Germany,Russia, Egypt, France and Italy) took a study trip to Mahabalipuram. They learnt about the Pallava Kings and the Dravidian Styles of Architecture. The 8th Century Monuments stand majestically as a window of our cultural living. Visitors move in awe when they take a look at the beautiful stone temples.
